SPOONFEED is a new online literary magazine publishing creative and experimental food writing. We have an appetite for food writing in all its forms: poetry, short or flash fiction, creative nonfiction and creative reviews.
Beyond all else, we aim to publish work which is food-themed or -related (think implements, appetite, absence of food), and which evokes or surprises.
We open periodically for general submissions, and less often for collaborative issues with other publications. Keep an eye on the 'SUBMIT' page or the SPOONFEED Twitter account for updates on upcoming submission periods.
Submissions are currently closed. SPOONFEED will reopen for submissions for Issue 2 in the new year.
For Issue 2, we are intending to recruit a team of readers who will field submissions and make editorial decisions. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, keep an eye on this page or our Twitter for details on how and when to apply.
You can contact Kat, the editor, at: editor [dot] spoonfeed [at] gmail [dot] com, or by using this form. She's always hungry for a chat.
